The first quarterly internal club competition this year was the Spice Rack Challenge. Basically, the idea was to brew a beer that featured/highlighted a spice from your spice rack/cabinet. We had 12 entries from club members, which was a great turnout for an internal competition. These competitions are free to enter and are open only to club members.
The drop off deadline was Monday, April 13, and judging was done on Saturday, April 18. And the results are in! On behalf of the judging panel, wehave to say these were some fantastic beers. Several were on par with some commercial beers we’ve had. Great job to all who submitted beers.
